Candidate-reported interview process

Met with manager and discussed job expectations. I was informed that the position had already been offered to someone else but if they declined, I would be offered a position next.

The questions they asked were pretty standard, but everyone was really nice and seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say. They got back to me pretty quickly after the interview. Even though I didn't get the job in the end, it was still a good experience.

The interview process was very simple and easy. I had a phone interview first, followed by an in person interview. It was held in a back office and was casual. It felt low stress, more of a conversation than an interview, and I felt comfortable.
