I had a phone screen with HR and then a series of interviews in a row to meet the team I would be supporting. The phone interview was good for getting information and felt like a good way to match me with the role, it wasn’t just me getting questioned it was a great conversation!
The first step was a 30-minute phone screen, and it was with the project manager, not HR. She was friendly and spoke quite a bit about the team and the company.
I had a phone interview that was totally unprepared and unprofessional. I got an email for it and then interviewed a week later. A week after that, they told me they picked someone else.
