Candidate-reported interview process

After I applied, they got back to me pretty fast. I got an email asking if I was free for a screening call with someone on their team. The email said it'd be a phone call, but then the day before, they changed it to a Teams call. The person interviewing me seemed like they were just going through the motions and asked about "gaps" in my resume from 2020-2021. I guess they forgot about the pandemic that affected so many people?

The interview process was surprisingly straightforward, almost as if they were ready to hire me on the spot! I felt very qualified, especially since I brought my resume highlighting my past work and educational background. Basically, if you can show you're capable of doing the job well, you'll get it.

The interview was pretty chill and fun. They really wanted to see if I'd be a positive, hard-working, team player. I talked with both a manager and the store director.
