Candidate-reported interview process

Had a really bad experience. I reached out to a recruiter on LinkedIn who seemed interested. They sent me a time to schedule, but didn't confirm for days, even after I followed up. When we finally had the phone screen, they said I'd hear back later that week about moving forward. Complete silence. I sent two follow-up messages and still nothing. It's been over 3 weeks. They ghosted me. What's weird is they keep posting the same job on LinkedIn and have been for months. Feels like they aren't actually looking to hire anyone.

I went through three interview stages with a recruiter, the growth marketing lead, and a communications director. The interviews asked about my background and project management. They couldn't answer my questions about the designer role's day-to-day tasks, showing a lack of understanding of design functions. After the third round, I was asked to complete a test project and record myself presenting it, which felt unusual as I'd prefer a live presentation. I got a rejection email over a week later without meeting the hiring manager.

The interview process was very thorough and great all around. It consisted of multiple rounds, but each one added value. The way questions were asked was pretty typical.
