Candidate-reported interview process
first round, 30-45min w/ a younger engineer, testing your experience in SolidWorks/CAD. Pretty straightforward "what tool do you use in X scenario" mixed with engineering design questions. Second round is a design review with a more senior engineer. They'll ask you to design a couple of components and watch you do it, while simultaneously asking you about your approach. Ultimately couldn't snag the offer.
The interview process started with a 30-minute video chat with the HR recruiter. Then, there was a 1-hour video call technical interview with a senior or staff engineer. This was followed by a technical interview with the team in a panel format. Finally, there was an on-site design challenge that included a presentation.
Went through 4 interviews and had to take time off work, but ended up getting rejected with no feedback. It's a bummer to get ghosted by unprofessional recruiters after putting in so much time. The recruiters also used inappropriate language during calls and texts.
