I networked with someone on LinkedIn and shared my portfolio. Because they have a co-op program with Sheridan, I applied through Sheridan. I got a phone call about two weeks later, then interviewed with HR. After that, I had another interview with the SVP and VP, where I walked through one of my student projects. Then I got the offer, and the co-op was extended to part-time.
The third interview, a one-on-one with the CEO/Founder, was disappointing because he was unaware of the position he was interviewing me for and hadn't been briefed on my background or previous interviews. This gave me insight into how the company operated.
4 interviews total, no practical assessment. Did not submit cover letter. 3 interviews were virtual and 1 was in person at the office. Each interview lasted about 20 to 30 minutes.
