Candidate-reported interview process

I applied on their careers site. About a month later, the CHRO emailed me to set up a 30-minute video call. During the interview, I was asked standard questions about my background and why I'm interested in Astor. I also got to ask her questions. She mentioned she's really happy at Astor because of the benefits and that she's been looking to fill this role since late 2024. As of now, she's still searching for a candidate.

The interview was a good experience. The people interviewing me were friendly and approachable. The interview was conducted via Zoom. I'm expecting a follow-up interview with the district I'd be working for.

I had an interview with the director and the lead special education teacher. It was a standard interview where I also showed my portfolio and talked about my goals for helping children grow in all areas.
