The initial two phone interviews were easy, enjoyable, and informative, not really challenging. Then, there was a full day, 6-hour on-site interview. I met mostly with managers, with one SDET included. The day started with very energetic people but ended on a bit of a down note. The interviews included one system design question, one algorithm question, and numerous questions about testing.
The first step was a technical phone screening that lasted over an hour. A senior software engineer asked in-depth questions covering .NET basics, OOPS concepts, ASP.NET, and SQL Server. After that, the lead engineer called and focused mainly on WCF questions.
The hiring process took about two months from start to finish. The initial contact was a phone call, which felt like an HR screening. After a few weeks, I was invited for an in-person interview at their office. They were flexible with scheduling the interview. The response time was quick.
