they ask you to sell them something, its just to see how quick you can think on your feet. They also ask you about your previous work experience, and the infamous question of what are your weakness. They ask you to describe your former employer and what is that you didn't like about working for them, what made you decide to leave.
The hiring process was really quick. Started with a call from a recruiter, then I went to the office for an in-person meeting with the hiring manager and some of his team. After that, I had a call with the VP of Sales. To wrap things up, I met with the hiring manager again for lunch to go over the details and talk about salary and stuff. There was also this long skills and personality test that I absolutely had to pass to get the job.
The interview process was lengthy and seemed to drag on. The people I interacted with were really nice and professional. I found out from the hiring manager that the person who referred me was actually working against me getting the job. It's a bit compromised when a new employee has more influence on hiring than the hiring manager. Luckily, I found another job. I've heard since then that the company culture there is really challenging.
