Assurant Analyst interviews, decoded.

It was the standard interview process. They asked me the usual why questions and about my past experience. I had the experience to answer most of these basic questions, so the interview was not an issue for me. Claims is all about the technical skills really, but others would stress in interviews how to communicate the results to managers and other employees, which is understandable.

It took multiple trips to the company, meeting around seven managers or directors. This whole thing lasted months and was super time-consuming. Each time there were a few panel interviews, lasting at least an hour to an hour and a half. Maybe they had tons of candidates or the hiring manager was just really busy.

It was a dynamic process with other candidates and activities that allowed us to assertively evaluate the candidates' capabilities. The HR staff at Assurant were very welcoming and cordial.
