First, I completed an application where I had to write about 500 words on how market trends impact a specific brand. After that, I was invited to do some tests, and finally, I had an online interview using an app I needed to download. It had around 4 competency-based questions.
I applied for the Marketing Graduate Scheme in late October. After a quick application form, I was invited to complete some online verbal and numerical tests, which I passed. Then, a third-party recruiting company contacted me for ABF graduates and invited me to a recorded video interview. This interview was competency-based and of average difficulty. It took them 3 months to let me know the outcome, which was frustrating. I know graduate scheme recruitment can take time, but 3 months for a yes or no felt too long. They sent emails saying I'd hear back by a certain date, but then apologized for the delay and said they'd get back to me ASAP.
First, I had to fill out a lot of questions about myself, the job, and why I wanted to apply. It took a really long time. Then, I had to do online tests, including verbal, numerical, and psychometric ones. They were harder than others I've done before, and I didn't move on after that. I wish I knew which test I failed.
