We were given some docs to look over before the interview. Then, they asked me some typical behavioral questions. After that, I had to do a task where I wrote up a bug ticket based on the documentation they gave me earlier.
Applied online for this role because I liked the job description and what the company does. A little over 2 weeks later, a recruiter reached out via LinkedIn asking to set up a screen interview as they liked my resume/background. I was happy to do so, but wanted to make sure we weren't wasting each other's time regarding compensation. I gave them my targeted range and asked if it was within budget. If it was, I would then offer up some available dates/times. It's been four days and I haven't heard back. This is NOT a good look! NOTE TO ASSET PANDA: hire professional/mature personnel as they reflect your company and its values.
It was a pretty standard interview process. It started with HR, then a department interview, and finally a team interview. I'd suggest looking up what the company does beforehand, as it really helped me connect my answers to their work and seemed to impress the interviewers.
