They were upfront about the role and its responsibilities. They gave a complete overview of job expectations. The team feels like a close-knit family.
The interview process involved an assessment, followed by three interviews. One of these interviews included a case study. There would have been a fourth step, a reference check, but I didn't advance. The people were nice, and the interview experience was good overall. Everything was conducted online. It felt pretty well-organized, especially considering it's a startup.
I went through several good interview rounds, and then there was a take-home assignment. I spent about 5 hours working on a 14-page mock report that I was really proud of, but then I was ghosted. I didn't even get a thank you or a confirmation that they received the project, which felt like a slap in the face. I guess this reflects how they treat their employees, so maybe it's a blessing in disguise!
