Long string along process. Hr would email me then ghost me. Why would I want to work for a company like this. When they offered me the job I respectfully declined.
I had a really prepared and friendly HR recruiter for the first interview over Zoom. But then, the next two interviews with the hiring manager felt pretty unprofessional. She didn't turn on her video for either Zoom call, even though they were set up as video meetings. She was also kind of vague about the role and what she was looking for. What was weirdest was when I talked about my "big corporate" marketing experience, she said she was laughing because this is a small startup that hasn't spent any money on outside marketing research or creative stuff.
Everything was done through the app. It included a voice recorder and a background check. Once all that was sorted, you were in. There was a $75 admin fee for the whole process, including the background check. It was super fast, like a day to finish. Then the training is also done through the app. A headset or earbuds are recommended.
