Candidate-reported interview process

I went through 2 interviews with limelight hotel. The first was over teams and the second was an open call interview. The teams interview was a little harder than the in person one. Both were professional and straight to the point.

The interview process was pretty standard for a chef role. It started with a recruiter call, then a chat with the general manager, followed by a meeting with the DOFB, then some execs from corporate, and finally a tasting. The downside? It took FOREVER, almost two months to get through everything. I've worked for places like Four Seasons and never had a process drag on this long. It felt like a lot of wasted time, especially when you're already working full time with a demanding job and put so much effort into all the different interview stages. They should really speed things up instead of adding endless interviews.

First, there was a phone call where they mostly wanted to know which mountain you'd prefer to work at. Then, a facetime interview happened, which was more about your skill level, experience with kids, and some behavioral questions.
