Candidate-reported interview process

I traveled to Chicago for an in-person interview since I was not living in Illinois at the time. They gave me a tour of the school after I met with the director. Then they contacted me with a job offer. The process was very quick and simple.

I spoke with a supervisor. They asked a lot of questions during our chat. It was a friendly and conversational chat. They answered my questions well and made sure we both had enough time to get to know each other.

It was an in-person meeting with the administration. They asked the typical interview questions and requested you to talk about your experiences. They also asked about your teaching philosophy and presented several teaching scenarios. They wanted to know why you are applying and interested in the role.
