Ashurst Manager interviews, decoded.

I had some technical challenges with the application portal, so I reached out to someone at Ashurst on LinkedIn. They replied quickly and let me email my CV. I got an interview invite within a week. I didn't get any further, but the screening and follow-up were positive and gave me a good feel for the culture there. They gave me feedback and communicated well, which made the usual interview stress much easier.

It was a good process. First I spoke to an internal recruiter and then had several interviews. The first was the hiring manager, then a culture interview with two team members and then a final interview with a senior team member, a partner and CBDO. Good communication throughout. The interviews were pretty standard, no nasty surprises.

The interview process involved questions that weren't very good, didn't ask much, and weren't very interesting or helpful. However, there were some questions about the interview itself which at least got some attention.
