The process started smoothly. Ashley called me after two interviews to schedule the next level. After the third interview, it was clear they had many moving parts and were deciding. The recruiter emailed/called for a couple of weeks after the third interview to let me know they were interested and working on next steps. Then I was ghosted.
I applied online and heard back in two days about setting up an initial call with recruiting. Next, I had a video interview with the hiring manager the following week. During this conversation, I learned that they expect leaders at this level to work a 6-day week. Given the limited vacation time and poor work-life balance, I decided not to proceed.
People are put into positions they are over/under qualified for, and recruiters modify/doctor resumes to fit the job descriptions. People conducting interviews are not part of the Human Resources team. I was cycled through different directors who had no experience with interviewing and no direct line reporting to for my role.
