Aselsan Software Engineer interviews, decoded.

First, the recruiter gave me a warm welcome and a brief introduction to the company. Then, she laid out the interview plan. In the first part, I talked about my background and why I'm interested in the job. After that, the department head asked me some technical questions and gave me a small practical task. Then, I had the chance to ask questions about the company and the role. Finally, they explained the next steps in the hiring process, and we ended the chat on a positive note.

Honestly, they primarily assess if you have connections to important people rather than focusing on your background or knowledge. While there are exceptions, this is the general approach they take.

The process had 3 levels. First was a phone call where HR talked about the job. Then, a technical interview with the Team Lead and HR, where they asked about technical concepts and BST questions. Finally, an interview with 2 Directors about my experiences and expectations.
