So, the interview journey started with a behavioural chat, then a logical reasoning test, and after that a situational judgement test. The next step was an assessment day, but unfortunately, I didn't make it that far.
The setup from management was great, but I wasn't happy with the Zoom call because their connection was faulty, which meant I was unable to hear all questions easily. That said, they were very receptive to this issue and were more than happy to take their time waiting for me to respond.
So, the interview was like four rounds spread over two weeks. First up was a 30-minute chat with HR, mostly about my background and what I'm looking for salary-wise. Then, a technical phone screen with a senior engineer, where they threw some coding problems at me and asked about system design. After that, I went on-site for three interviews back-to-back: one with the hiring manager about my behaviors, then a technical deep-dive with a couple of engineers that included whiteboard coding, and finally, a chat with some team members to see if I'd fit in. The last bit was a quick call with the department director to go over the role's big picture and for me to ask questions.
