It was an open interview with a group of people who asked questions. Management was there to help guide the staff in their questioning. The whole thing took about two hours. Management was really engaged and seemed keen to find the right new person for their team.
Since I was out of town, the initial interview was over the phone with two different hiring managers. They were nice and asked standard questions. Then, when I was back in town, they offered me a tour of the hospital and the units I might work on. I got a job offer within two weeks. Overall, it was a pretty good process.
I applied online and then got a call from a recruiter. After that I went to an open house. About three weeks later, I got a call for a panel interview. I did the panel interview at the hospital, and a week after that, I got the offer. The whole process took about 5 weeks.
