Candidate-reported interview process

The interview was easy and all was fine, however the VP lied at the interview and ghosted afterwards - I don't trust them anymore. Disrespectful behavior towards applicants. The interview was great. We smiled, laughed, has a serious case and she looked me straight in the eyes and lied, which I found out afterwards.

I applied online in September 2024. The hiring manager contacted me in October for a 30-minute virtual interview. It seemed to go well, and the HM said I'd hear from HR the following week. Unfortunately, I didn't. I followed up and was told they were still interviewing. After two months, I followed up again. The HM informed me they decided to go with another candidate who better suited their business needs. I learned a lesson about the futility of following up after an interview.

First, I had a one-on-one chat with the hiring manager. Then, I went to the home office for an in-person visit where I gave a presentation to a group. Finally, there was a personality test and a review with HR.
