The email system they use is corrupt. It bounced back several times. The recruiter didn’t give me a choice for an interview time which was already a red flag. The marketing director came off pompous for a company that seems wholly disorganized with no audience segmentation. Everyone got to work from home except new hires (I laughed internally at this.)
HR called me for a phone screening. We set a time, and I joined the Zoom room early, but the HR person didn't show up. After I emailed her, she said she was delayed by another meeting and would be there soon. I waited another 15 minutes for her. I didn't hear back after the screening.
I interviewed there in April, they seemed to be in a hurry to hire someone for the position, but then two months went by without hearing from them. I followed up in early June, and the HR manager said they were wrapping up interviews and would be in touch in the next week or so with an answer. Over a month goes by, and I decided to reach out again about the position. The day after I follow-up, I finally get a form response from the HR manager saying the position had been filled.
