Candidate-reported interview process

For this role at a private, Christian university, candidates need to submit documents about their vitality of faith and show their Christian beliefs and principles. They will get a campus tour and then have to give a presentation to other university faculty about their research agenda and teaching approach.

It was a really long interview process, took the whole day. Started with my boss, the AD. Then met the President, then VP of Student Development. After that, I had a panel interview with other coaches, and they all asked the same things. The whole thing was from 8 am to 4 pm.

This was a very rigorous interview process, even for a small university with a small staff. Be prepared to meet most of the department staff if they are available, depending on the position. Meals like breakfast or lunch were provided depending on the interview time.
