The first interview was pretty technical, covering topics like servers, networking software, etc. After passing my clearance, I was offered a position. However, a few days later, they stated the position was filled and asked if I would accept a lower role with no start date. I felt insulted and declined. I don't recommend this company as I felt conned. It's sad what IT staffing agencies do these days to keep their contracts. Don't work with this company, you will be sorry.
The HR department is great here, interviews and hiring are fast. The hiring manager and training manager interview you. There are standard work history questions, and a quick IT and PC troubleshooting test. The job posting is clear about what they want, so you should know what to expect if you fit the criteria.
I had experience in tier 1, so I went into the interview with the hr manager. She really drilled me on technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills. She wanted to know what I could do to troubleshoot if I showed I was connected, asked about Command Prompt commands, and what ipv6 means. She wanted to ensure my knowledge matched my qualifications. She also set expectations about the job, told me there were two spots left, and that the next training class started in a week. She called me the next day to offer me the position and start the background/drugscreen.
