The interview was on-site and included group discussions and individual technical assessments. There was a debate about a topic related to Arup, which wasn't too hard but required creative thinking. If you passed, they'd get back to you pretty quickly.
The interview process wasn't too bad, it had pretty standard questions. The interviewers were friendly and seemed genuine. They didn't ask me the technical questions that I had been given half an hour to do prior to the interview.
I had a pre-recorded video interview online. I got 1-3 tries for each question. There were 9 questions in total, mostly about my background, experience, and personality. The goal was to understand me better than just my resume. They asked about my motivations, strengths, how I deal with challenges, and teamwork. It was a strange way to do it, but it let me think and be myself, even without talking to someone live.
