Applied through a recruiter who sent a pre-assessment including an Excel test (finding errors, formatting, formulas), a policy test about a desktop discount policy for government/corporate clients and qualification questions, and a short personality assessment. The assessments have a 2-3 hour completion window. After submitting the assessment, I was scheduled for a 30-minute panel interview. There was a 30-minute interview prep seminar beforehand discussing Artech, the Microsoft licensing analyst role, and daily tasks. The actual interview had 4 people, with 3 asking questions. It included behavioral/personality questions and some based on my resume.
A recruiter emailed me first, then they called to see if I was interested in the open position. I went on-site and interviewed with their contractor. They mentioned they needed people to start immediately. After that, there was no follow-up whatsoever – no email, no phone call. I never heard back from them again. The whole process felt very unprofessional.
I was referred by an employee to Merck, and Artech Information Systems, LLC was involved. My first interview was a phone call with a rep from Artech. After that, I had a face-to-face interview with the Merck hiring Manager. They offered me the position, and I accepted.
