So I interviewed for a BI Developer role and had an in-person first round. It was quite a haul to get there, but the interview itself seemed to go well, and I followed up. They said they were still interviewing but I never heard back. Waiting weeks for an update was a bummer, and honestly, no matter the outcome, people deserve to know, especially after putting in the effort and cost to come in person.
It was a 3-stage interview process. The first stage was a phone call. The second stage was with the finance manager, and the third stage was with both the finance manager and the head of finance. They were really friendly and helpful. The questions were tough, but they were good about breaking them down if I was finding them difficult.
The interview had two parts. The first part was on Microsoft Teams, and the second was face-to-face with competency-based questions.
