Arranta Bio Interview Questions

I got to 2 steps. First was a screening call with the HR lead asking about salary expectations, visa sponsorship, and my experience. Second was a virtual interview with the direct manager and department head. The direct manager was nice, but the department head was rude and late, not really engaged. They asked some basic questions on my technical experience and skills. Then I was ghosted. I followed up with HR since I liked the company and the direct manager. She said hiring was postponed indefinitely. Then, two days later, the position was advertised on LinkedIn. I found it a bit disingenuous not to be upfront.

It was a very long process, with about 3-4 different interview sessions with various people including an analyst, scientist, VP, CEO, and CSO. It felt very intimidating. The total process took around 4-5 hours. The hiring decision wasn't made solely based on the interview.

I got recommended by a friend. Then, HR reached out and I had an initial phone screen. After that, what was supposed to be a zoom call with the hiring manager turned into a surprise interview panel. The HR person I was talking to didn't mention it beforehand, and the hiring manager wasn't even there. I ended up interviewing with the hiring manager a week later. It was basic interview questions, very conversational. I thought it went well, but I didn't hear back. I emailed HR 4 weeks later for feedback, but they never responded. It's been 2 months now, so I'm assuming I didn't get the job, which is fine, but it's really unprofessional to just stop communicating after the interview.
