The interview process involved six rounds, after which I was ghosted. It was somewhat entertaining, though I wasn't too invested. I met some interesting people, but also some with huge egos.
I went through an interview process for a client advisory role, which seemed odd given my extensive background. The first 30-minute Zoom interview was positive, but the interviewer didn't share contact info and the invite came from a generic no-reply address, making follow-up impossible. The second interview was tough; the interviewer seemed disengaged, yawning often, and was dressed casually in workout clothes. After another six months of follow-up, which felt like a long time, I had a third interview. It turned out there were no actual clients for me to coach, despite a job posting. It felt like they were just scouting for future talent, but there wasn't a real job available.
The whole thing took about three months from start to finish, including a final "decision week." There were about six or seven rounds where I chatted with everyone on the team, even the CEO and CTO. I was consistently in the top 99th percentile for AI theory and aced all the rounds, including product sense and leadership. But honestly, it was messy. After all that time, they told me I didn't get the job just because of my experience, which is something they should have said upfront in the job description.
