I applied online on the aafes website and they responded quickly. Someone got in touch by mail or phone. Then I had a one-on-one interview with the store manager where they asked some basic questions.
I chatted with the store manager and four supervisors from different AAFES departments, including Power Zone, cashier/customer service, the food court, and furniture.
I was first contacted and sent my passport and educational documents for the interview. I had to get a visa and travel to Kabul. Then I met with the company manager, who arranged an interview. I passed the interview, and after 3 days, they called me for joining. I also had to provide my medical records and security clearance. The whole thing took about a month and a half.
