It was a super easy process. Just 3 interviews in total: first with a recruiter, then the hiring manager, and finally the VP. The whole thing wrapped up in under 2 weeks and I got the offer pretty fast!
The recruiter call was awesome, super clear and communicative. After that, I spoke with the hiring managers who gave me more context about the job. Then, I didn't hear anything back. When I followed up, the recruiter said they decided to go with someone else. I later saw on LinkedIn that they hired a Project Manager, not a Sr. Project Manager, so it seems like the role might have changed.
It started with a recorded video interview using Willo. Then I chatted with the internal Manager of Talent Acquisition. After that, I had a talk with the VP of E-commerce. Then, they gave me an exercise to do, which took me about 4 hours to complete and send back. After sending it, there was no more news unless I reached out. I kept following up every week to show I was still interested, but the company only got back to me sometimes with weak reasons like “we want to compare several candidates”. Eventually, I got an email saying I didn't get the job because “the team decided to shift focus and find someone from a disruptor brand… we will not be filling the role as originally scoped.”
