The interview process was very fair and laid back, and it felt more personal. Unlike other accounting firms, Armanino wants to see you as a human being, not a work horse. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend Armanino to a friend.
I got referred by a student ambassador at my school and was invited for an interview. The first interview was a casual chat with one person. The next interview involved an office tour, three 30-minute back-to-back interviews with different people, and a lunch with 2 staff accountants. The process was smooth, and everyone was friendly. Although I didn't get an offer, the experience was positive.
I met the recruiter and staff at Meet the Firms. After that, I got a 15-minute phone call from the recruiter asking about my interests and what I was looking for. Then, I was invited for a second round interview at their office. It started with a 30-minute intro and office tour, with each candidate getting a helper. Following that, I had three back-to-back 30-minute interviews with partners and managers. The staffs took me out to lunch afterward. Everyone was really nice, but I didn't get the offer because there was only one position and many applicants. Still, it was a great experience.
