Candidate-reported interview process

Started with a 30 min video call with the Director of Product. After passing, I went on-site for the next part of the interview, which had two sessions with lunch in between. This was a great experience! Both sessions were conversational, prompting me to reflect on my design journey, aspirations, and future success. I received valuable feedback after each session, which was really motivating. It was clear that the design team was invested in my growth, both personally and professionally.

I went through the interview process for the full-time UX Designer position at treasure data. It spanned two weeks and included a phone interview with a portfolio review, then a design challenge, and finally an onsite interview. The onsite consisted of three parts: a co-design session related to the design challenge, a whiteboard exercise, and a meeting with a Product Manager. I found it to be the most positive interview experience out of more than 20 I've had. I spoke with the Director of Design, who was very patient and helpful, offering advice on my design skills. The entire UX team came across as energetic, vibrant, and fun; it felt like anyone could easily join the team.

I applied through the website, and the entire interview process took about two weeks. It involved a video interview and an on-site. It was a pretty quick process because they skipped the recruiter part. I talked directly with the Design Lead, who was really helpful and answered all my questions.
