Candidate-reported interview process

I talked to recruiters at my university's career fair. They emailed me a few times about applying online, and then I had a full day onsite interview later. The interview day had a schedule with 4 different interviews that looked at verification, logic, design, and performance.

I applied offline and then got a call for an interview. The interview happened about 10 days later, and it went pretty well. Within a week, I got another call saying I got selected.

The first interview was conducted by a lead engineer. They asked me about my past work and current studies. Then, they asked questions about verification tools, VHDL, Verilog, and UVM. The interview was straightforward, but I wasn't well-prepared in verification and couldn't answer as expected. It did show me my weak areas, so now I know what to study. It was a good experience, and I'm happy I got to the first round.
