I got referred for a 6-month internship role and had my interview via Skype. The TA team has been unresponsive about the results for a while, but the interviewer was pretty helpful.
It was a 2-round interview process. Started with a telephonic interview and then moved to a Skype interview. The questions were mainly about microprocessor and microcontroller, computer architecture, C programming, and hardware description language. The questions were of average difficulty, asking for examples and explanations of how specific structures function. It was mostly focused on logical thinking and problem-solving.
I found the job posting on Linkedin and applied online. The hiring manager gave me a call for a phone screening, and they were very nice. It was mostly behavioral questions, with some technical ones thrown in. I got an offer about a week later and took it. Overall, the process was pretty simple.
