The phone interview for the hardware architecture role was a disaster. The hiring manager seemed confused about the difference between software and hardware architecture. They didn't ask anything about how to translate software needs into silicon.
I had a one-hour technical interview. The recruiter asked standard questions from Digital Design, Computer Architecture, Verification, and Software Programming, which would be typical if you've prepped for a digital design interview.
They started by introducing the team and what the interns are responsible for. Then they asked if I'm familiar with Arm's floating instructions, and some questions about assembly and architecture in general.
