The first interview was about my engineering knowledge and explaining the job. The second interview was coding, where I had to create a linked list from scratch and then design a function to remove an item and shift places.
It was a really long interview process with six people involved. One was from HR, and the others were managers from different departments. Most of the interview was pretty casual, just talking about my background and the company. They asked a few technical questions though. Everyone was nice, but I haven't heard back.
This interview experience was quite bad, mainly because the interviewers seemed unprepared and were rude. They did a video interview but didn't even turn on their cameras, which felt really impersonal. What was especially frustrating, considering they work in security, is how resistant they were to using modern coding practices. It's concerning because using old code could be a big security risk.
