The department head will personally email you to go over the next steps or any extra info you might want. This is unlike many other government jobs where you have to apply only via the official website, following the usual procedures.
The one-way video interview was a really terrible experience. It didn't allow for a good way to get to know candidates. The software used was buggy, and the whole thing felt very corporate and impersonal. I really hope I don't have to do that again. I get that maybe they can't talk to everyone, but a quick 10-15 minute phone screen would have been appreciated. Honestly, I'm not sure I'd want to work for a company that prefers watching candidate videos over actual conversations. It was embarrassing, and they should improve.
The interview involved a panel interview where everyone asked questions, and then a separate phone call happened.
