The process went smoothly and I didn't feel pressured. Common sense questions were asked and I felt like I did well when leaving. I was given a drug test in this process and passed and received a job offer.
There was a group of three interviewers. They laid out the job requirements and then asked questions one by one from a list they had. They took notes while I answered. The panel seemed nice and professional.
I applied online for the job on the Arkansas State Jobs website. I got a letter in the mail saying I met the requirements and might get an interview. About 3 weeks later, I was called in for an interview at the prison. My interview was at 11:00 AM, but I wasn't called back until 11:50 AM. I was interviewed by a panel of three people. They made me feel comfortable, but the questions were tough. I haven't heard back yet about an offer or denial.
