So first there was like a quick phone call with someone from hiring, then a virtual interview with the Marketing Manager, and then a final virtual interview with both the Director of Marketing and the Strategic Communications Manager.
I got the interview, and I dressed really minimally, although they expected more professional attire, which was too professional for the actual job. I met the manager and got to say hi to the other employees. The store itself is messy, as you'd expect for a thrift store. The office where we did the interview was even worse. It smelled bad, and there was old food and random stuff everywhere. It was a lot. I also got a weird vibe.
The interview went well, or so I thought! I spoke with two people in the department. They asked good questions, and I enjoyed meeting and chatting with both of them. I sent a thank you email to each of them but never got a response. So rude! I'm really tired of companies expecting perfection and professionalism from candidates while lacking it themselves.
