The interview process was quite speedy and not overly challenging. I was impressed that they decided to skip any technical assessments and solely concentrate on behavioral questions. I was prepared for numerous hypothetical scenarios, and they did present them, which was a positive aspect. They also asked the common question, 'Why do you want to work for us?'
The interview process was pretty straightforward. After applying and getting an interview set up, you'll schedule classes to evaluate how well you fit the position. It's a series of tests, and if you pass, you move on to the next steps.
I spoke with three managers who were quite nice. They asked general things and one puzzle I couldn't figure out. They explained the job, what they're looking for, and what they expect. A background check is definitely needed. The interview took about 30-40 mins and felt pretty good. About 5 days later, I heard they picked someone else. I'm still gonna apply for other IT jobs with the state.
