It was a really thorough process, I talked with the hiring manager and then the CEO. They asked some good questions and it was a helpful and interesting discussion. The process was smooth and they were transparent about everything. I had a phone call first, and then an in-person interview. Both were about an hour to an hour and a half.
Their interview process was really fast. I first had a recruiter phone screen, then a phone screen with the hiring manager. After that, I had 5 in-person interviews all in one go. They ended up extending a job offer to me the very same day.
My interviewer seemed really checked out during our conversation. They didn't seem very engaged with my responses or the questions they were asking about the job. I tried to ask about current departmental challenges related to this role, but they dodged the question. Honestly, based on our chat, they didn't seem to like their job.
