Candidate-reported interview process

We started with a brief chat about the role and the company, then we dove straight into some technical questions. It covered circuits, memory types, and tracers.

So, the interview kicked off with the hiring manager and a team member chatting about the role, what I'd be doing day-to-day, and the general office vibe. I got to ask some questions, and they shared their experiences at Arista. After that, we dove into the technical hardware engineering stuff. They hit me with questions about logic gates, circuit diagrams, and transmission lines.

I lost out on an interview because of my second nationality, Iran, even though I hold Australian citizenship. I was told that hiring someone from Iran, Cuba, and other similar countries is extremely difficult due to US sanctions, which I feel is clearly racism :(
