It was a really straightforward interview. They asked general questions and also questions about the role to gauge your fit. Make sure you're ready to talk about why you're interested in the position.
An HR rep contacted me to set up a meeting with the hiring manager. I then spoke with the hiring manager for about 40 minutes, where we briefly chatted about my past research and what I plan to do moving forward. After that, I had an onsite interview with the team. I gave a 40-minute presentation about my work, followed by a 20-minute Q&A session. I also met with each team member individually for about 20 minutes each. To wrap things up, I had a final meeting with the hiring manager at the end of the day.
I gave a 1-hour presentation about my background and interests, which included a Q&A session with three interviewers. After that, I haven't heard back despite sending thank you notes and follow-up emails. I'm hoping for at least a rejection email.
