Aretove Technologies Interview Questions

They asked some SQL questions and wanted to know the difference between rank() and dense_rank(). Also asked about window functions, the difference between WHERE and HAVING clauses, common table expressions, finding the Nth highest salary, and how to remove duplicates from a table.

The interview process for Software Trainee was okay. I answered all the questions they asked, but I wasn't selected in the end. The HR department is unresponsive, so you have to chase them up constantly. It wasn't a great experience.

I was reached out to on LinkedIn for an initial phone screen with HR, which was a pleasant conversation. Following that, I had an in-person interview with the CEO. This interview was quite off-putting due to his aggressive, rude, and condescending demeanor. Despite being invited back for another interview, I decided not to proceed. I also want to flag the 3-month contract period, which wasn't in the job posting and doesn't include commission. I'm concerned about the high turnover rate implied by this structure. Look out for yourselves during your job search!
