I had a quick phone screen with the Sr Director of People. She was bubbly and a good first face to meet. She did a good job of reflecting the culture.
A recruiter reached out to me after I applied online. She set up interviews with some leads and engineers. I haven't heard back since, so I guess they're not moving forward with me, even after I tried to follow up. It's a shame companies ghost candidates. They have a solid engineering team and talented individual contributors, but the leadership is questionable. If they want to attract good leaders, they really should treat candidates better.
Two really uninformed people conducted a basic screening. They sent out a bunch of meeting invites and then asked questions. One of them was 10 minutes late and acted really rude. She had an accounting background for IT security. So I spent 20 minutes explaining a complex process (which I've done successfully) to someone who didn't seem to understand it. This whole thing felt like a disaster waiting to happen.
