The interview process was pretty straightforward. Mostly, they wanted to hear about me and how I can showcase my abilities. The questions were pretty standard for a professional setting. It felt more like a chat, but definitely do your prep work and come with your own questions too!
We'll start with a simple introduction and a quick rundown of your CV and future goals. Then, I'll tell you about our company, what we do, and how we can support your career path and future growth.
There were two interviews and also a personality test. The first interview was with the recruiter and it was about 15 minutes long. The second interview was with two department heads. I felt like one of the interviewers, Blake, judged me a bit because I hadn't worked in a few years. This was because I relocated as a military spouse and was a stay-at-home parent during the peak of Covid. He kept asking me in different ways about how I handled being overwhelmed and he was doubtful about the work I did for my past employer. Even though I had more experience and higher education than what they asked for, it still didn't seem to impress them.
