Candidate-reported interview process

The interview process was quite thorough across different schools, showing they have high expectations for their staff. It typically involved teaching a lesson, submitting prior work, and discussing your educational experience.

It was an easy interview process, but there wasn't enough communication about benefits and salary. It was otherwise a pleasant experience. It could be improved with guidelines on transparency.

I was interviewed by several people in a panel-style setting where they asked questions one after another. There were about 15 questions in total. Since I had been in an interim role for a year, I knew everyone on the committee, and they had had more than a year to get to know me.
