Arcesium Engineering Manager interviews, decoded.

The hiring process is pretty standard, starting with an online test that had a basic programming question involving REST APIs. You had to solve it without googling or switching tabs. I applied via LinkedIn and got a quick response, and the interviews were scheduled fast. Then there was a phone screening round to check my knowledge of current tools and technologies. After that, I had a two-hour interview with questions that weren't too difficult and mostly focused on my resume. It's important to be up-to-date on everything in your resume. I did feel like the interview questions lacked structure, though. Overall, I'd say the questions were easy to medium in complexity.

5 rounds took place over a month, it was a slow process with no feedback. Waste of time in my opinion. They don't hire for a specific need, they just hire to keep people in a talent pool.

There was an initial 2hr hackerrank round followed by a 1hr system design round. HR ghosted after the second round. Suggestion to HR team, learn valuing candidate's time and be mature enough to say interview result. Don't waste time to attend interviews here.
